Blog Trends Team
Kaitlyn Pierce – Founder
I am Kaitlyn, a recently married social media manager, web developer, and fashion lover (among other things) from the Berkshires of western Massachusetts. I have a passion for photography and have been taking photos since I was a teenager. I have also been a blogger since the time I learned how to use a computer and began building websites with page builders as a young girl. You can find me at PiercingStyles.com. I created Blog Trends after discovering how incredibly useful the Twitter chats focused on social media were. After a little bit of brainstorming, the hashtag #BlogTrends was born &I began reaching out to some of the bloggers I knew to help me spread the word and join in. When I am not blogging I enjoy going out to dinner with my husband, taking day trips to NYC and Boston, and cuddling with my family of kitties.
Lindsay – Co-Founder
I’m Lindsay. I blog for both Blog Trends and my own blog, Black & Blonde One. I have been crazy about fashion since I was a little girl holding runway shows down the hallway at my house. I have worked in retail sales, buying, and studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology. It was a story similar to Goldylocks. Everything else just didn’t fit my taste, that is, until I found blogging. Last fall, I connected with Kaitlyn on Twitter and we have been working together since. I have become very passionate about our little venture because it’s a great place to learn, grow, and share. Currently there isn’t another outlet for bloggers to do that, whether they are new to blogging or have gone pro. We’re here to connect everyone and have lots of fun in the meantime!
Katie – Managing Editor
Hellooooo dearhearts! My name is Katie Petix. I live in Washington, DC. I am the voice and stylist behind the blog Today I Want… and I’m one of the voices behind Blog Trends social media outlets. In the fall of 2011 Kaitlyn and I connected on Twitter and since then I’ve been hooked on the amazing community that is Blog Trends. If you haven’t already figured, it’s an amazing place to ask questions, get feedback, and meet other bloggers in a friendly, supportive, and empowering environment. Outside of Blog Trends, I love to travel with my husband. I’m kind of obsessed with my cat. I always have cut flowers in my home. I crave music. I love rock n roll. I used to be a goth, I kind of still am. And I love taking pictures of, well, everything!
Ely – Asst. Editor/Graphics Coordinator
My name is Ely, known about the internet as Ms. Duran. I’ve been blogging since high school, but it wasn’t until after college that it became a passion. A friend showed me a few fashion blogs and after a while, I was hooked! Three years later, my own blog (Ripped Nylon) is still my baby, I am always working at it, trying to improve and keep things fresh. When I’m not blogging, I work full-time as an architectural designer, part-time as Director of Social Media for Femmebot, and of course, spend some time behind the scenes at Blog Trends! It’s a lot to do, but I have the most supportive family a girl could ask for, and I love every second of my (usually) overbooked days.
Amber – Blog Trends Ambassador Coordinator
I am a former probation officer turned SAHM turned Blogger. I write about my 3 passions my family, fashion, and beauty products on The Browsing Brunette. I have always been a lover of fashion and Vogue is my fashion bible. Sephora, Ulta, and Charming Charming are some of my favorite stores. My guilty pleasure is QVC Beauty (the videos are amazing!)

The only thing I was fit for was to be a writer, and this notion rested solely on my suspicion that I would never be fit for real work, and that writing didn’t require any.
