I’d love us to share the best of the best- but not the same 5 who get spoken about over and over. Here’s our chance to put the spotlight on the lesser known, but awesome originals. Who’s on your radar? Who’s as good as Sea of Shoes, or The Sartorialist but gets no love? Share them!
My list:

Why are they not as famous as Fashion Toast, Bryan Boy, The Sartorialist, Sea of Shoes? For me, they reek of quality, original and inspirational style. Roz is going to be famous, I’ve not doubt about that – she’s gorgeous as well as talented, and white and thin- and young so she’s an up and comer. Wayne should be as famous as Scot Schuman seriously not sure why he isn’t.
Judith and Helga, maybe it’s just me- but i eat their style up like candy and their blogs have actively impacted my attitude of style for sure. I think the whole world should read them!
August 17, 2012 at 4:39 pm #2615My list:
Juley of Swank Height – http://www.swankheights.net/. A great Southern flair style, mixed in with alternative brand/stores reviews and food.
Yentine of My Edi – http://myedit.blogspot.com/. She thrifts. Has had one pair of new DVF shoes on the blog and the rest of her brands – straight thrifted. Seriously love her style.
Brian of Dirty Richmond. Serioulsy – the new Satorialist and no one does better alternative fashion than the kids living in #RVA – http://dirtyrichmond.tumblr.com/
http://streetsophisticato.blogspot.com/ - this last guy is a Richmonder and I love some Richmond style… it’s like no other. You can wear anything in Richmond and no one thinks twice – Judith and Helga would fit right in here.
August 17, 2012 at 4:44 pm #2616Hi! I’ve just joined blog trends and this is my first time posting. I’m on my phone and can’t link but Miss Vintage Virgin is definitely one of my favorite bloggers. I would also consider Dulce Candy a top-tier blogger, though she isn’t necessarily one of my faves.
August 17, 2012 at 9:44 pm #2624I like these blogs for fashion inspiration…i mainly read makeup/beauty blogs but these inspire me with outfits

Us petites are often ignored in the body image arena and really can’t be too vocal about our issues. However, we have the web and these ladies do an excellent job in making petites look good without having to be an actress or top selling recording artists (because face it, this is pretty much the only way anyone under 5’4″ will end up in a fashion magazine – unless you’re a Kardashian or Nicole Richie)
The following blogs are top-tier-ish, especially in Canada:
http://www.backseatstylers.com (I see her at A LOT of fashion events and galas. I think she goes to way more than me…and she apparently has a kid at home)
http://www.herwaisechoice.com (from Vancouver – she’s also part of Fashion’s Style Panel (Fashion is one of our three major (English) fashion publications. The other two are Flare and Elle Canada (we also have Elle Quebec, which is, of course, in French).
Note: both the above ladies are petite, but don’t often publicize that they are, so I can’t put them with other petite bloggers.
August 18, 2012 at 10:36 pm #2641This is a great post and I can’t wait to check out all of these blogs. I just joined tonight, thanks to Alison at http://www.wardrobeoxygen.com/ mentioning it on her site. She is my favorite fashion blogger and has inspired me with her outfits.
I’m also a fan of: http://octoberrebel.blogspot.com/
http://thecaffeinatedcloset.blogspot.com/
http://jupefashion.blogspot.com/
I’m a stay-at-home-mom with expensive taste but not much money, and all of these ladies feature clothing from stores I can actually afford.
